Sports After School Educator

Responsibilities

• Lead structured gymnastics classes for elementary-aged students
• Ensure student safety while teaching fundamental gymnastics skills
• Create an encouraging and inclusive learning environment
• Plan age-appropriate activities that promote coordination, confidence, and physical development
• Manage student behavior using positive reinforcement
• Maintain accurate attendance and communicate any incidents when necessary
• Prepare and organize equipment before and after each class

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• Previous gymnastics coaching, teaching, or competitive gymnastics experience preferred
• Experience working with children is highly preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability and willingness to complete 3+ hours of required online training before the program begins
