Sport Manager - Para Swimming

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of operational planning for Paralympic Swimming
• Liaise with World Para Swimming for competition and training venue design
• Act as the subject matter expert for para swimming within the organization
• Collaborate on competition and training schedules
• Validate sport equipment requirements
• Coordinate with Timing, Scoring & Results for system integration
• Lead recruitment and on-boarding for the Competition Management workforce
• Manage stakeholder relations with World Para Swimming and other aquatic sports managers
• Provide reports on deliverables and support budget development

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience delivering national and international level para swimming events in a leadership role
• Extensive knowledge of para swimming and event operations
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication, team building, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in an office environment in Los Angeles, CA
• Ability to travel internationally, domestically, and locally as required
• Valid Passport for international travel
