Sport Manager, Blind Football

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of operational planning for Blind Football
• Liaise with the International Blind Sports Association for venue design and competition schedules
• Act as the subject matter expert for Blind Football within the organization
• Coordinate with various LA28 functions including Venues, Infrastructure, and Ticketing
• Manage the recruitment, onboarding, and day-to-day leadership of the competition management workforce
• Manage stakeholder relations and coordinate across blind athlete sports including Blind Judo and Goalball
• Support the development of budgets and project plans

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience delivering national and international level Blind Football events in a leadership role
• Extensive knowledge of Blind Football and event operations
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communication, team building, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in an office environment in Los Angeles, CA
• Ability to travel internationally, domestically, and locally as required
