About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of operational planning for Blind Football
- Liaise with the International Blind Sports Association for venue design and competition schedules
- Act as the subject matter expert for Blind Football within the organization
- Coordinate with various LA28 functions including Venues, Infrastructure, and Ticketing
- Manage the recruitment, onboarding, and day-to-day leadership of the competition management workforce
- Manage stakeholder relations and coordinate across blind athlete sports including Blind Judo and Goalball
- Support the development of budgets and project plans
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience delivering national and international level Blind Football events in a leadership role
- Extensive knowledge of Blind Football and event operations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication, team building, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in an office environment in Los Angeles, CA
- Ability to travel internationally, domestically, and locally as required
