Splunk Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and manage Splunk infrastructure and solutions
• Administer Splunk Enterprise security
• Develop and deploy complex Splunk searches
• Administer search head clusters, indexer clusters, and Splunk forwarders
• Troubleshoot and deploy Splunk solutions for users
• Use GIT to manage and deploy custom apps and configurations
• Use AWS to manage and deploy Splunk infrastructure
• Use Jira and ServiceNow to track tickets

Requirements

• TS/SCI with a Polygraph
• Splunk Architect or Splunk Admin certification
• Experience managing Splunk clusters and forwarders
• Experience developing complex Splunk searches
• Basic Linux knowledge
• Educational/Experience combinations: 8 years with HS/GED, 6 years with Associate's, 4 years with Bachelor's, 2 years with Master's, or Doctorate

Preferred Qualifications

• Splunk consultant or architect certification
• Advanced Linux, GIT, or AWS experience
• Experience with Jira and ServiceNow
• Knowledge of Splunk Enterprise Security or Splunk SOAR
