Splunk Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including processing-intensive analytics and real-time systems
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements
• Resolve software problem reports using appropriate development methodologies
• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
• Develop simple data queries and implement complex database interfaces
• Serve as team lead on specific projects as required

Requirements

• US Citizenship required
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 14 years of experience, or equivalent experience
• 14 years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs of similar scope and complexity
• 5 years of experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C++ and Java
• Proficiency with Splunk, ROXY, and RHEL 9

Preferred Qualifications

• Testing experience
• Linux systems administration experience
• Full Scope Polygraph (FS Poly)
