SpinUp Program Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for resident life science startups within the SpinUp incubator
• Build and strengthen relationships with strategic stakeholders and partners
• Organize and deliver entrepreneurship programming, events, and presentations
• Coordinate meeting schedules, agendas, and follow-up items
• Advise on communication strategies and the patentability of commercially applicable inventions
• Consult with clients regarding project scope and resource development
• Assist in the recruitment of new members and partners for the program

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in chemistry, life sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of four years of related professional experience
• Experience working in a research wet laboratory environment
• Experience working within an entrepreneurship environment
• Proven experience in project coordination and event management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and social media platforms
• Strong organizational, time management, and professional presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree (MSc or PhD) in chemistry, life sciences, or a related field
• Experience working with entrepreneurs in a post-secondary environment
• Experience working within a startup accelerator or incubator
• Knowledge of laboratory safety policies and procedures
