Speech Therapist

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct medically prescribed speech/language or swallowing evaluations and rehab programs
• Evaluate patients utilizing appropriate testing procedures to establish scope of dysfunction
• Plan restorative treatment programs based on objective data and physician prescriptions
• Record initial evaluations and progress reports per departmental policy
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to provide efficient and effective care
• Educate medical staff and health professionals in speech/language techniques
• Assist in the preparation of requisitions for supplies and equipment

Requirements

• Master's degree in speech, hearing science, or language development
• Valid Montana state license in Speech/Language Pathology services
• Certification by the American Speech/Language/Hearing Association (CCC)
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
