About the role
Responsibilities
- Research, develop, and implement novel algorithms to solve customer challenges related to Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR)
- Develop software systems used to train and test ASR systems
- Build new ASR models tailored to specific customer data and domains
- Interface with DoD clients to support ASR research systems
Requirements
- Must be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required on day 1
- BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline with 8 years of experience, OR an MS in a relevant discipline with 5 years of experience
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Experience with the Linux command line
- Strong background in Machine Learning and empirical research
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with speech recognition technologies
- Experience using ESPnet and PyTorch
- Proficiency in Bash programming
- Strong knowledge of software development in Python
