About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop materials and information regarding AAC, Accessible Information, and Communication Access across various platforms
  • Implement CIRC projects including non-electronic communication aids, Key Word Sign (KWS) activities, and training services
  • Deliver expert advice and quality services to a national range of customers and stakeholders to improve communication access
  • Provide training to communication partners both in person and online
  • Deliver services in adherence to allocated hours and quality standards while working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders

Requirements

  • Recognised qualification in Speech Pathology
  • At least four years of clinical experience, particularly with people with complex communication needs
  • Current certified practising speech pathologist membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Demonstrated knowledge of comprehensive Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) systems
  • Experience supporting individuals to access both electronic and non-electronic AAC tools
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and current Working with Children Check
  • Valid Driver's license
