Speech Pathologist

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of Speech Language Pathology Services as ordered by physician
• Participate in patient care planning with other home care personnel
• Conduct initial history, evaluations, and skilled procedures
• Consult with physicians regarding treatment changes and progress
• Complete initial evaluations, treatment plans, and goals for physician approval
• Manage recertifications every 60 days as required
• Write progress notes for each visit, reevaluations, and discharge summaries

Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology
• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Speech Therapist
• Home Health experience
