Speech Pathologist

Responsibilities

• Provide expert assessment and management of swallowing and communication disorders in adult patients
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care in alignment with Epworth’s core values
• Manage a varied acute caseload across Richmond and Freemasons campuses
• Utilize highly developed interpersonal and written communication skills to support patients and colleagues

Requirements

• A recognised degree in Speech Pathology
• Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
• Practical experience in assessing and managing adults with communication and swallowing needs in a hospital setting
• Experience in conducting and interpreting swallowing videofluoroscopy studies
• Ability to prioritise and manage a diverse acute caseload
