About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist assessment and treatment for adults with communication impairments and dysphagia
- Work across acute inpatient wards, supporting patients with complex medical presentations
- Collaborate with families, carers, and MDT colleagues to deliver patient-centred care
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
- Contribute to safe discharge planning and continuity of care
Requirements
- Speech and Language Therapy degree recognised in the UK
- HCPC registration
- RCSLT membership
- Experience working with an adult acute inpatient caseload
- Postgraduate dysphagia training
- Car driver or reliable transport
