About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist speech and language therapy to children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions, developmental trauma, and SEN
- Conduct clinical assessments and contribute to personalised care plans
- Provide therapeutic input within both educational and residential settings
- Offer guidance and training to staff to ensure clinically informed environments
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teams and families
- Work collaboratively with a large network of clinical professionals
Requirements
- Qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC
- Experience delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people with complex needs
- Ability to support teams around the child to create therapeutic environments
- Effective communication, training, and clinical role model skills
- Highly organised and proactive approach
