Speech & Language Therapist

Responsibilities

• Conduct swallow and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to provide comprehensive care
• Manage a diverse caseload across acute wards
• Provide education and support to patients and their caregivers
• Participate in MDT meetings and contribute to service improvement

Requirements

• HCPC registered Speech & Language Therapist
• Experience working on acute wards (stroke, general medicine, frailty, AAU, respiratory, neuro, or rehab)
• Strong skills in swallow and communication assessments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in relevant software and equipment
