Speech & Language Therapist

Responsibilities

• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions to improve speech and communication skills
• Build rapport with service users to encourage engagement and recovery
• Manage complex cases considering cultural and linguistic differences
• Develop strategies for caseload management
• Conduct audits and contribute to research to enhance treatment provision
• Apply specialist knowledge in neuro-behavioural, brain injury, and specialist care

Requirements

• HCPC Registration
• Experience in managing dysphagia assessment and treatment
• Experience working with families to support patient care
• B6/7 level clinical experience in acute inpatient stroke and neurology
• Instrument skills (FEES / VF) desirable
• Relevant CPD and training
• NHS experience desirable
