Speech Language Pathologist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's specific needs and goals
• Provide therapy services using evidence-based techniques and innovative approaches
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
• Educate and support parents, guardians, and caregivers on home-based strategies and exercises
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, progress notes, and treatment documentation
• Stay current with the latest advancements in pediatric speech-language pathology
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Current state license/certification in speech-language pathology
• Minimum of one year experience in pediatric speech pathology preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Competency in applying speech therapy principles, methods, and materials
• Familiarity with pediatric speech and language disorders
• Experience with various assessment tools and therapeutic techniques
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
• Knowledge of healthcare accreditation standards
