About the role

Responsibilities

  • Implement treatment plans and therapy techniques
  • Monitor and document students' progress and responses to therapy activities
  • Collaborate with SLPAs to adjust treatment strategies based on individual student needs
  • Interact with students in a warm, caring, and child-friendly manner
  • Maintain student records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with AZ Department of Education
  • Coordinate with school staff and SLPAs for scheduling therapy sessions
  • Provide regular updates to parents and support staff regarding student progress
  • Participate in regular professional development opportunities

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certification
  • Experience working with pediatric populations
  • Knowledge of speech therapy techniques and methodologies
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with therapy materials and tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
