About the role
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans and therapy techniques
- Monitor and document students' progress and responses to therapy activities
- Collaborate with SLPAs to adjust treatment strategies based on individual student needs
- Interact with students in a warm, caring, and child-friendly manner
- Maintain student records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with AZ Department of Education
- Coordinate with school staff and SLPAs for scheduling therapy sessions
- Provide regular updates to parents and support staff regarding student progress
- Participate in regular professional development opportunities
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certification
- Experience working with pediatric populations
- Knowledge of speech therapy techniques and methodologies
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with therapy materials and tools
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
