Speech Language Pathologist

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical work, assessments, and individual consultations for clients
• Conduct speech-language screening using age-appropriate methods
• Implement documented treatment plans and protocols
• Document progress toward child and family outcomes
• Conduct assessments and assist with formal documentation
• Schedule activities and prepare charts, records, and data
• Maintain equipment including augmentative communication devices (AAC)
• Carry out in-home sessions tailored to specific treatment plans
• Attend weekly staff meetings and contribute to case discussions
• Manage administrative tasks including progress reports and certifications

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Active California Speech-Language Pathology License
• ASHA certification
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for working with children on the autism spectrum
• Ability to work within a trans-disciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

• Desire to learn Developmental, Relationship-Based Model (DRBI)
• Knowledge of Early Start best practices and DIRFloortime principles
