Speech-Language Pathologist

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, high-quality speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings according to IESP/IEP
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and evaluate speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans for each student
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school professionals to support student development
• Maintain thorough documentation of services, progress, and outcomes per DOE and company standards
• Participate in IESP/IEP meetings to offer expert insights and recommendations

Requirements

• Current valid NYS license in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a school-based setting
• Proficiency with electronic documentation and teletherapy platforms
• NYC DOE fingerprinting and vendor status (or willingness to obtain)
