About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and evaluate speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on IESP/IEP requirements
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school professionals to support student development
- Maintain thorough documentation of services, progress, and outcomes in accordance with DOE standards
- Participate in IESP/IEP meetings to offer expert insights and recommendations
Requirements
- Current valid NYS license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a school-based setting
- Proficiency with electronic documentation and teletherapy platforms
- NYC DOE fingerprinting and vendor status (or willingness to obtain)
