Speech and Language Therapist

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist assessment and intervention services to individuals with learning disabilities
• Conduct detailed assessments of communication and swallowing difficulties
• Develop and implement tailored therapy plans
• Monitor and review patient progress to ensure optimal outcomes
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care
• Engage with patients and families to provide education and support regarding communication and swallowing management

Requirements

• HCPC registration
• Experience in speech and language therapy with a focus on learning disabilities
• Dysphagia trained and competent in managing dysphagia cases
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
