About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist assessment and intervention for adult acute inpatients
- Manage a caseload including communication and swallowing disorders
- Complete dysphagia assessments and deliver safe, evidence-based management plans
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Contribute to service delivery and uphold high clinical standards
Requirements
- UK-recognised Speech & Language Therapy degree
- HCPC and RCSLT registration
- Experience working with adult acute inpatient caseloads (NHS or equivalent)
- Postgraduate dysphagia training
Preferred Qualifications
- Mask-fit tested
