About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored speech and language therapy interventions to children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to support therapeutic learning environments
- Contribute to assessments, care planning, and progress reviews
- Provide training and guidance to educational staff to ensure consistent, clinically informed support
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with professional standards
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to service improvement
Requirements
- Qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC
- Experience working with children and young people with complex needs, particularly SEMH
- Confidence in delivering therapeutic interventions and supporting staff teams
- Proactive, organised, and committed to achieving best outcomes for pupils
- Effective communicator and clinical role model
