Speech and Language Therapist

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored speech and language therapy interventions to children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to support therapeutic learning environments
• Contribute to assessments, care planning, and progress reviews
• Provide training and guidance to educational staff to ensure consistent, clinically informed support
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with professional standards
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to service improvement

Requirements

• Qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC
• Experience working with children and young people with complex needs, particularly SEMH
• Confidence in delivering therapeutic interventions and supporting staff teams
• Proactive, organised, and committed to achieving best outcomes for pupils
• Effective communicator and clinical role model
