Speech and Language Therapist

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and provide specialist Speech and Language Therapy support for neonatal patients
• Manage a clinical caseload independently, delivering evidence-based assessment and intervention
• Provide specialist advice and guidance to families and wider multidisciplinary teams
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and maintain records in line with professional standards
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals across hospital and community settings
• Participate in service development and contribute to maintaining high standards of patient care

Requirements

• Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent)
• HCPC registration
• Eligibility for membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)
• Previous experience working within neonatal Speech and Language Therapy services
• Ability to work independently and manage a clinical caseload effectively
