Speech and Language Therapist

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist speech and language therapy interventions for young adults in a mainstream FE setting
• Conduct small group sessions, occasional 1:1s, and classroom observations
• Contribute to staff training and upskilling through coaching and modelling
• Liaise with teaching staff, support workers, and families to embed communication strategies
• Develop and implement individualised therapy plans aligned with learning goals
• Maintain high-quality documentation and progress notes

Requirements

• Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy
• Current HCPC registration
• Substantial experience in education settings, ideally FE or post-16
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites
