Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with diverse communication and swallowing disorders
- Design and implement tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including doctors and nurses
- Train and supervise junior staff
- Participate in clinical audits
- Manage caseloads and maintain accurate patient records in adherence to NHS policies
Requirements
- Qualified Speech and Language Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years working at Band 6 level
- Experience working with an older adult patient cohort, preferably in the NHS
- Essential dysphagia training
