About the role
Responsibilities
- Work 3 days a week in the community on Early Supported Discharge for Stroke
- Manage a caseload involving mixed communication and swallowing impairments
- Provide assessment and treatment for dysphagia and tracheostomy patients
- Support patients with stammering, DLD, speech delay/disorder, neurodisability, and developmental communication disorders
Requirements
- HCPC Registration
- Experience in dysphagia management and tracheostomy competency
- Neuro skills and knowledge, specifically in stroke
- Experience writing EHC plans
- Ability to drive and own a car for travel between patient visits
