Speech and Language Therapist

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments for children referred for speech and language therapy
• Establish individualized treatment plans based on specific needs
• Schedule and deliver follow-up appointments at weekly intervals
• Finalize all necessary reports and documentation daily
• Discharge children from workload once ready, ensuring continuity of care
• Utilize Herts NDrive for accessing templates and resources
• Collaborate with team members and administrative staff

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
• Relevant experience in paediatric speech and language therapy
• Strong assessment and therapeutic skills for children aged 2.5+ years
• Experience managing caseloads with various communication disorders (excluding dysphagia)
• Proficiency in report writing and documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently within a team environment
