Speech and Language Therapist

Responsibilities

• Manage your own clinical caseload
• Provide strategic clinical and operational leadership to the therapy team
• Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver exceptional services
• Assist in pupil referrals and therapy service optimization
• Oversee financial and resource management within the therapies department
• Champion continuous professional development

Requirements

• Recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification
• HCPC registration
• Experience with Dysphagia and adult acute care
• Band 6: Dysphagia competence
• Band 7: Competence in both dysphagia and tracheostomy care
• Experience working with children or adults with communication needs
• Knowledge of clinical governance principles and audit processes
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Head and neck experience
