About the role
Responsibilities
- Independently manage a diverse paediatric caseload
- Provide tailored therapy to children with various speech, language, and communication needs
- Run Social Skills Groups (SSG) and deliver Teletherapy (TT) sessions
- Conduct detailed assessments and develop personalised treatment plans
- Collaborate with families, schools, and other healthcare professionals
- Carry out EHCP assessments and write comprehensive reports
- Contribute to the training and supervision of junior staff
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
- Enhanced DBS check
- Minimum of 3 years postgraduate paediatric experience
- Experience running Social Skills Groups (SSG)
- Ability to deliver Teletherapy (TT) sessions
- Experience delivering therapy in clinic settings
- Competence in EHCP assessments and report writing
- Exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills
