Speech and Language Therapist

Responsibilities

• Conducting initial and follow-up assessments for patients with neurological conditions and communication disorders
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings
• Providing interventions to help patients regain and improve communication and swallowing function
• Collaborating with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective patient care
• Scheduling and managing your own caseload efficiently
• Documenting and maintaining accurate patient records in line with professional standards
• Participating in team meetings, case discussions, and supervision sessions

Requirements

• HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist
• Experience working with adult neurological patients (stroke, ABI, Parkinson’s, MND, MS, dysphagia, aphasia)
• Experience in community settings is highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work independently
• Valid UK driving license is desirable
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain
