Speech and Language Therapist

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage adults with dysphagia and/or voice disorders within an acute hospital setting
• Independently manage a caseload within a benign ENT service
• Deliver evidence-based therapy and rehabilitation programmes tailored to individual patient needs
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to patient care planning and reviews
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in line with professional and organisational standards

Requirements

• Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy
• HCPC registration and membership (or eligibility) with the RCSLT
• Experience working with adult patients in an acute setting
• Proven ability to independently manage dysphagia cases

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in FEES
• Experience in voice therapy
