Specification & Product Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead prescriptive selling of the Value-Added Products (VAP) portfolio to developers, consultants, architects, and governmental authorities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with design communities and technical stakeholders to increase product adoption.
• Drive lead generation activities in coordination with the VAP team to identify new business opportunities.
• Develop technical and commercial illustrations, including product presentations and technical data sheets.
• Conduct value engineering exercises by preparing detailed product comparisons and quantifying value propositions.
• Analyze market intelligence regarding competitors and customer needs to recommend strategic responses.
• Support new product development through testing, validation, and coordination with the Quality Department.
• Plan and execute new product launch activities and provide technical support to the sales team.
• Adhere to and enforce all health, safety, and environmental legislation and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Construction Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in the construction market, preferably in specifications or technical markets.
• Strong technical and presentation skills with the ability to influence technical bodies.
• Extensive knowledge of building materials and construction systems.
