Specification Manager

Responsibilities

• Secure the specified use of products through technical solution selling and a value-added approach.
• Act as a trusted advisor to investors, developers, architects, and specifiers to shape client vision and support the design phase.
• Achieve profitable sales growth by developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
• Manage a robust specification pipeline and account development plans to ensure sales results.
• Proactively seek new business opportunities and collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams.
• Utilize CRM tools and sales excellence methodologies to manage the project lifecycle.
• Support cross-selling initiatives by collaborating with colleagues across different product categories.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in technical value-added solution selling within a corporate environment.
• Background in the building products or construction industry.
• Experience working on major commercial projects as a strategic supplier.
• Strong commercial excellence, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluency in both English and Norwegian.
