Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative - Primary Care

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary customer contact to promote Amgen products and implement marketing strategies within the Lexington West territory
• Provide comprehensive clinical knowledge of products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization
• Achieve territory sales targets through branded sales messages, medical educational programs, and both in-person and virtual engagement
• Develop and manage customer relationships, ensuring product access and resolving reimbursement issues
• Analyze territory performance and business effectiveness to develop strategic territory plans in partnership with the District Manager
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and uphold Amgen's science-based, ethical values

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree OR Associate's degree with 4 years of sales experience OR High school diploma/GED with 6 years of sales experience
• For Senior level: Bachelor's degree with 3 years of sales/clinical experience, OR Associate degree with 6 years, OR High school diploma/GED with 8 years
• Proven ability to communicate clinical benefits effectively to healthcare professionals
• Strong relationship management and account service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Three or more years of sales experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry
• Experience in specialties such as oncology, cardiology, neurology, or inflammation
• Local market knowledge and established relationships within the Lexington West territory
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration
• Strong skills in planning, organizing, and driving for results
