Specialty Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Verify prescription orders against medication delivery tickets
• Process prescriptions through POS systems and manage payments
• Package temperature-sensitive and specialty medications using correct supplies
• Enter shipping information into UPS WorldShip and Dynamex
• Track shipments and investigate delivery issues
• Organize packages by delivery type for efficient workflow
• Deliver clinic-administered medications to on-site pharmacies

Requirements

• State-registered Pharmacy Technician Trainee or Pharmacy Technician
• High school diploma or GED
• 0–12 months of experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding health information
