Specialty Pharmacy Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the Specialty Liaison team to provide high-quality patient experiences in specialty clinics
• Coach and develop liaison teams through consistent performance feedback and training
• Facilitate communication between liaisons, pharmacy, and clinic teams
• Meet operational targets regarding clinic service, growth, and patient satisfaction
• Establish relationships with health system stakeholders including clinic leadership and pharmacy teams
• Ensure team accountability for prior authorizations, financial assistance, and patient outreach
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 5 years of experience in a healthcare or pharmacy environment with direct patient/clinician contact
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• Ability to manage individual performance against quantitative metrics
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years supervisory or management experience
• National Certification as a CPhT or prior experience as a licensed pharmacy technician
• Experience in retail, hospital, or provider settings communicating with physicians and nurses
