Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality psychiatric care to patients within community and inpatient settings
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to assess, diagnose, and manage mental health conditions
• Contribute to care planning and support recovery-focused treatment
• Participate in clinical meetings, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures
• Work autonomously while contributing to team-based care

Requirements

• Full GMC registration
• Section 12 approval
• Approved Clinician status
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in psychiatry
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team collaboration
