About the role
Responsibilities
- Represent Amgen products, specifically KRYSTEXXA, to physicians and healthcare professionals to establish product demand
- Develop and execute comprehensive territory business plans to achieve and exceed sales objectives
- Provide patient-centered disease and product education to healthcare providers and external stakeholders
- Build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and infusion centers
- Navigate the healthcare landscape, including private practices, academic institutions, IDNs, and community hospitals
- Coordinate with internal matrix teams such as Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient Services to address reimbursement and access challenges
- Identify and address patient access and pull-through opportunities within the designated territory
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Experience in reimbursement navigation and patient access coordination
- Experience with infused therapies or buy-and-bill products
- Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in Nephrology is strongly preferred
- Experience engaging with academic centers, IDNs, and hospital systems
- Strong knowledge of payer policies, reimbursement processes, and managed markets
- Ability to communicate complex clinical information to both clinical and administrative stakeholders
- Willingness to travel approximately 20–30%
