About the role

Responsibilities

  • Represent Amgen products, specifically KRYSTEXXA, to physicians and healthcare professionals to establish product demand
  • Develop and execute comprehensive territory business plans to achieve and exceed sales objectives
  • Provide patient-centered disease and product education to healthcare providers and external stakeholders
  • Build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and infusion centers
  • Navigate the healthcare landscape, including private practices, academic institutions, IDNs, and community hospitals
  • Coordinate with internal matrix teams such as Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Patient Services to address reimbursement and access challenges
  • Identify and address patient access and pull-through opportunities within the designated territory

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Experience in reimbursement navigation and patient access coordination
  • Experience with infused therapies or buy-and-bill products
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in Nephrology is strongly preferred
  • Experience engaging with academic centers, IDNs, and hospital systems
  • Strong knowledge of payer policies, reimbursement processes, and managed markets
  • Ability to communicate complex clinical information to both clinical and administrative stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20–30%
