Specialized Nurse for Oncology

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for oncological patients and support them during medical examinations, procedures, and therapies
• Prepare, implement, and monitor cytostatic therapy concepts
• Perform quality assurance tasks for oncological centers
• Conduct continuous and structured advisory conversations and regular nursing rounds
• Coordinate, document, and evaluate nursing activities
• Train new employees using the oncological induction concept and conduct training for nursing and other professional groups

Requirements

• Completed training as a healthcare and nursing professional (Gesundheits- und Krankenpfleger) or geriatric nurse (Altenpfleger)
• Specialized training in oncological nursing (Fachweiterbildung in der onkologischen Pflege)
• Independent and structured way of working
• Ability to work in a team and desire for professional and personal development

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic degree in nursing
