About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify trends and analyze equipment problems to perform necessary adjustments and root cause analysis
  • Troubleshoot, modify, and repair mechanical linear systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, robots, and PLCs
  • Coordinate maintenance efforts between operations and engineering functions
  • Optimize preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and manage spare parts inventory
  • Utilize plant systems including SAP, MES, and OpCon to manage work orders
  • Follow all plant safety and environmental policies to maintain a clean and orderly work area

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or machining
  • Proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems (mechatronics)
  • Detailed knowledge of Staubli and Omron robots
  • Experience with SAP work order and spare parts systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot PLC programs
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and print-reading
  • Ability to communicate technical instructions effectively and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC programming
  • Familiarity with CNC machines (drives, axes, etc.)
  • Knowledge of vision systems, Trumpf lasers, or Profibus
  • Experience with heat treat or chroming operations
