Specialist/Consultant Endodontist

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage diseases of the dental pulp and periapical tissues
• Perform high-precision root canal treatments (RCT), retreatments, and complex endodontic procedures
• Conduct endodontic microsurgery (apicoectomy) and manage dental trauma cases
• Utilize dental operating microscopes and digital radiography for accurate diagnosis and treatment
• Collaborate with general dentists, prosthodontists, and oral surgeons for comprehensive treatment planning
• Provide pain management and emergency dental care related to pulpal conditions
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records in line with regulatory standards

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience post-specialty qualification
• Recognised specialist qualification (UK Specialty Training/MEndo, Canada Royal College, Australian Dental Council, Arab Board, or MDS/FCPS Endodontics)
• Eligibility for DHA, DOH, or MOH licensing in the UAE
