Specialist, Technical Training (Maintenance Trainer)

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging training sessions including lectures, hands-on laboratory work, and field exercises
• Facilitate courses at the Rochester Training Center and various customer sites worldwide
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop training materials that meet evolving customer needs
• Gather and incorporate customer feedback to refine and expand the training curriculum
• Work closely with publication writers to create and test courseware and product manuals
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the disassembly, testing, maintenance, assembly, and calibration of core product lines and test equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience, AA Degree with 6 years of experience, or Graduate Degree with 2 years of experience
• Minimum of 6 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree
• Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand schematics, block diagrams, and radio frequency circuitry
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing communications equipment using discrete test equipment
• Knowledge of L3Harris/RF Communications (AN/PRC-117G, AN/PRC-163, AN/PRC-160) and VSAT terminal products
• Experience as a Department of Defense Training Developer/Writer or familiarity with the Army Systems Approach to Training (ASAT)
• Completion of US Army Training and Education Development Course or equivalent instructor training program
• Foreign language skills, such as fluency in Arabic or Spanish
