About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide targeted support for pupils with additional or complex needs, applying knowledge in areas such as EAL, behaviour, and SEN.
- Plan, resource, deliver, and monitor progress for individual pupil programmes within the classroom or through separate strategies.
- Work closely with teachers to adapt learning and implement individual learning plans, including sensory diets.
- Prepare bespoke resources and sensory-based approaches to meet specific pupil requirements.
Requirements
- GCSEs or equivalent.
- Proven experience supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
- A positive, enthusiastic, and motivated approach to supporting young learners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working specifically with SEND pupils to provide high-quality skills and knowledge.
- Ability to lead with kindness and integrity as a role model for students.
