Specialist, System Integration and Test Engineering

Responsibilities

• Apply system integration and test engineering standards, principles, and techniques to complex payloads and space vehicles
• Architect I&T approaches and establish the flow down of requirements across flight hardware subsystems and ground support equipment
• Participate in design peer reviews and plan top-level I&T flows to ensure efficient use of assets and facilities
• Provide technical management for complex engineering tasks involving electrical, mechanical, optical, software, and hardware components
• Support detailed test planning and on-the-floor execution for system-level tests based on subject matter expertise

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, OR a Graduate Degree and 2+ years of experience, OR 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Background in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Optical, or Thermal engineering
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical leadership experience specifically within System I&T
• Experience with hardware and software system integration, TVAC testing, dynamic testing, or EMI testing
• Experience with space vehicle level integration and test
• Strong understanding of I&T development processes and life cycle management
• Proven ability to work closely with customers, business development, and cross-functional disciplines
