Specialist System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze stakeholder and system requirements to ensure accurate transformation of customer needs into internal specifications
• Describe interfaces between components and support the development of system architecture
• Lead functional safety and cybersecurity implementation at the system level
• Support system testing, assurance of regulatory approvals, and debugging of system-level issues
• Manage configuration and change tracking across development cycles using PTC tools

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems or software development
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering preferred)
• Automotive domain expertise with a solid understanding of vehicle architectures and diagnostics
• Proficiency in requirement management tools such as IBM DOORS or Code beamer
• Practical experience with MBSE methodologies and tools like UML/SysML (e.g., Rhapsody or CAMEO)
• Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety principles and ISO/SAE 21434 cybersecurity concepts
• Hands-on experience with vehicle communication protocols including CAN and UDS
