Specialist System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install and configure NetApp AFF storage technology and new NetApp clusters for production scaleup
• Manage NetApp provisioning and snap mirror replication for CIFS and NFS
• Perform ONTAP firmware updates and troubleshoot Level 2/3 issues in SAN and NAS environments
• Manage NetApp storage errors, hardware failures, and vendor relations
• Prepare production documentation including Runbooks and Disaster Recovery scenarios
• Handle ITSM tasks including Incidents, Changes, Alerts, and Requests per defined SLAs
• Monitor and update Capacity Management using NetApp technology
• Participate in 24x7 operations to ensure production stability

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in storage engineering
• Expertise in NetApp AFF, ONTAP, and snap mirror replication
• Experience with Cisco SAN Switches and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration
• Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, and Problem management)
• Intermediate Python scripting and automation skills
• Ability to work in a 24x7 environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Intermediate skills in DevOps and open-source tools
• Knowledge of cloud storage basics and market trends
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
