Specialist Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced structural analysis for offshore platforms, including fixed and floating structures.
• Design and assess jackets, decks, modules, subsea structures, and foundations.
• Execute fatigue, strength, and dynamic analysis for offshore environments.
• Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, and specifications in compliance with API, ISO, DNV, AISC, and Eurocodes.
• Support FEED, detailed design, and execution phases of offshore projects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including pipeline, naval, mechanical, and fabrication.
• Utilize industry-standard software such as SACS, SESAM, STAAD, ANSYS, or ABAQUS.
• Act as a subject matter expert, mentoring engineers and reviewing technical deliverables.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZIDs, HAZOPs, and risk assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 10–15+ years of experience in offshore structural engineering.
• Proven experience working with major EPC contractors or oil & gas operators.
• Proficiency in structural integrity assessments and pile/foundation design.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng).
