Specialist Sports Medicine

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent sports-related injuries for athletes and active individuals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, tailored healthcare
• Promote optimal recovery and performance through specialized treatment plans
• Perform relevant medical procedures, including joint injections
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and stay current with sports medicine developments

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Completion of residency training in Sports Medicine or a related specialty
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in sports medicine
• Expertise in injury diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation
• Ability to perform medical procedures such as joint injections
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
