About the role
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding disorders and therapy goals
Requirements
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Experience managing dysphagia and communication disorders
- Valid driver's license and access to a car for community visits
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
